SPS will be changing school attendance boundaries throughout the district for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 school years. As part of this process, SPS will require all Choice students attending a neighborhood school outside of their designated attendance boundary to reapply to attend their current Choice school.
SPS will make every attempt to fulfill Choice requests, but this may mean that
Choice students applying now to attend a neighborhood school outside of their designated attendance boundary for the 2022-23 school year MAY NOT be able to remain at their Choice school after the boundary changes if the school reaches enrollment capacity.
(NOTE: In-District SPS students currently attending Option Schools and Programs – i.e. Apple, Montessori, etc. – will not need to complete the re-application process. They will be eligible to remain in their current program regardless of the boundary changes.)
